That depends on where you are here. America's a big place, with many different people and customs. New York streets were rough, when I was growing up, but not as bad it later became in the 70's and 80's. It started to get much better in the 1990's. These things go in cycles.

before this piss-fest gets closed, i'd also like to ask why? i mean, you always seemed like a cool cat.. i've known you longer then most anyone has.... well not known you, but i've been reading your posts more than most have... and you were never like this...

you are like just stirring up shit... for the last week or two... at first i just attributed it to ignorant people getting on your nerves, but now it's like you're just looking for places to fling shit....

so what's going on man? is there something youw anna talk about or what? cuz you have seemed really out of character lately... almost like someone's hacked the BA account and is a completely diffrent person now, just here to stir up shit....

i dunno what happened to start this, but you really need to chill man.. if you don't believe what we're telling you, get a friend over to read your posts... tell them to spare no feelings for you cuz they're your friend and to read the posts biased friendly.... i can almost 100% garuntee they're going to tell you the same things i just did, and members before me have.

you're clearly flinging shit, there's no denying, hiding or covering it up....

This thread reminds me of 'Dogs'

'Like the club tie, and the firm handshake
A certain look in the eye, and an easy smile'

I think it's awkward when you stick your hand out, and they look at it, and you're just hanging there. Waiting.

I shake hands with anyone over 30. Otherwise, I give 'em a hug if it's an informal setting.

Everything's OK - it's nothing to worry about. I guess I was in a shit-stirrer mood. I had a near-volatile incident with somebody on the subway a couple of weeks ago. That probably started it. It takes time to "uncrazy" yourself sometimes.

I'll take a break for a while. Bye for now and thanks.

Quite easily. I asked him a question, and i got a reply. We didnt have an argument, and i put that i didnt want an argument. - So, whats your post all about?

Anyway, in the end he got banned just as i predicted - it was rather obvious.
