i would probably say because whites were never enslaved and called rednecks or white trash. iono though, i still struggle with the whole midget, dwarf, little person thing.

American whites WERE very much "enslaved" - and the modern "Rednecks" ancestors were, to a large degree, indentured servants who were worked to death alongside the African slaves in Virginia, and many other places. In fact, the term Redneck was invented during the days of Indentured Servitude - because working in the cotton fields make the white servants necks bright red.
