well i have herd that when you smoke a joint alot of THC is wasted when it is burning, this could explain the larger 'high' when smoking with a bong, but the thing is the bong is still buring it?

Ima definitely say a nice 4 ft glass bong with ice catch will get me 10 times more ripped then a joint any day. Even though I would only get 2-3 bowls it still somehow gets me more ripped.

IMHO Bongs are the only devise (and a few large GB's) that gives you the feeling of what me and my friends can only describe as 'creeping'. Its when you take a massive bong rip out of said bong or similar and you feel nothing for 5-7 sec then all the sudden you get this strange feeling in your lungs like they are filled with water swirling around then your eyes water and finally you exhale and 30 sec later you feal the niiiiiiiiiiiiiice head rush.

i find that with joints, pipes and blunts the smoke comes off really hot. Not being able to inhale it all at once dilutes the smoke in your lungs as you have to take smaller spaced out hits to fill your (or at least my) lungs. With a bong i find it easy, less harsh - that way i can take the smoke deeper into my lungs quicker then joints, pipes, and blunts. Also im putting this on record - i smoke less in a bong and get higher, when i smoke a joint or blunt it has to be above .5, with a bong its .2 - .4 everytime.

I can inhale deeper and for longer amounts of time with a bong. I use hot water in a bong. I don't know why, I love hot water bongin'...its kinda theraputic. I use bongs mostly because it's less harsh on my lungs...

thats funny, i do the exact opposite. i like having ice in my bong water, it condenses the smoke and makes it very smooth. then it feels like it starts expanding in my lungs and it usually makes me cough like a madman.

the reason it gives the most THC to you is because the water traps all of it in the smoke when its in the chamber (smoke cant flow back thru the bowl)
