avoiding throat burn?

i've done stuff like that before....except mine get more ellaborate...you take a tube (aquarium hosing) that you have no problems sucking through....and cut it about 2 feet long put one end around the end of your mouth peice and tape it in (electrical tape works the best and all the residue can be wiped off should you decide to use th epipe again).....then take a 20oz and in the middle of it somewhere you put a hole the size of the tubing....feed the tube in as far as it will go (the pipe needs to be able to sit on the table and you need to be able to tilt the 20 and still have some slack while keeping the end of the tube at the bottom of the bottle....seal around the tube in the 20 put a carb somewhere near the top of the bottle in the 20 then fill the 20 about an 1 inch below where the tube comes in with a mixture of crushed ice and water....fill the bowl then you know what to do

A good plan, but you're losing a lot of THC. I read is some NIDA report about THC transferral that only 5-20% of the gross THC in the marijuana bud gets to you in an average bong hit. You add more tubing, and more chambers to that, and you're getting even less than that, man.

I'm not saying don't do it. I'm just saying that's a con (devil's advocate, so to speak). I use ice in my bongs, and they're all hookah-style. Nothing's better than a vape hit drawn through ice water. It feels like opening the freezer and taking a deep breath.

this is supposedly a very ancient african method for avoiding throat burn..

basicly just drink some water or whatever and hold some of it in your mouth when you take a hit. its easy and effective

or you could just try some of the weed recipes and avoid throat burn all together though eating isnt as much fun as smoking =\

usually when i get really really bad throat burn i just take a nother fat ass rip and it numbs my lungs and throat

yes, i also suggest using a bong and put some ice cubes in there. the water and ice makes the hit a lot smoother and is easy on your throat. damn, ill hit a bong over anything else any day
