I always like to have a glass of water around me when I smoke. My throat wasn't ever really giving me problems, but one time I had some water while smoking, and I found it alot more enjoyable. Nice cold water. Unless of course you live in the artic tundra of Canada and are smoking outside.

yo i think i know why, is it ur first few times smoking? cause back when it was like my first 5 times I got bad sore throat. After a while u get used to the harshness of the smoke though and u won't worry about it cause the sore throat iwll not exist anymore. I sort of use my tongue as a guarder of my throat and let the smoke hit the tongue first. Helps prevent any flames from scorching ur throat,a nd seems to be more enjoyable. Plus I must be doing the inhale thing perfectly cause i am always the first to detect it and feel it the strongest.

Your "sore throat" might be cotton mouth, hmm? I usually get really dry cotton mouth after I smoke, but it's nothing some water or soothing tea can't cure.

Or if it's actually a SORE throat that you always get, try getting your hands on more potent bud... that way you don't need to smoke as much to get high (therefore causing less harshness to your throat and lungs).

Sup dude, well I had the same problem and managed to come up with an ingenious marijuana-inspired idea, so Iâ??ll share it with you.

You need any regular 16-20oz bottle. Take a metal thing or whatever and heat the end with a lighter till itâ??s really fucking hot. Then take the metal thing and use it to melt a hole in the very bottom center of the bottle. Make the hole about whatever size the mouthpiece of your pipe is. Your gunna need some kind of rubber to make the seal but basically you stick the end of your pipe in the hole and then suck through the top of the bottle. It creates a huge air chamber that the smoke passes through first and cools down.

You can go one step further and cut a hole in the side of the bottle to use as a carb and that makes it really awesome. Light that bowl up hella then when you see the smoke in the bottle is really thick, release the carb and suck all that shit in quickly. Basically it works out to that you take really fat hits and it doesnâ??t burn at all. Also, you donâ??t waste as much weed cuz if you canâ??t take it all in you can quickly cover the end of the bottle and then wait then suck the rest of the smoke out of the bottle.

Everyone Iâ??ve told about that said itâ??s stupid but I dunno gets me fucking ripped and I donâ??t feel like I fucked up my lungs with hot ass smoke either.
