lol i have channeled before but i didnt know what was happening and did not get any knowlage in words, I told my tai chi instructor what it felt like and he said I was channeling. These are parts of other people's writings who have apparently channeled Jesus. I dont see a regular person writing stuff like this.

a prophet told me im soon to become a prophet and recieve some sword, who the fuck knows, he seemed to know all my personal info and id dint know the fucker, FUCKING SHIT, IM CONFUSED, LIGHT A BLUNT AND CELEBRATE, oh yeah, i was so freaked out that he knew everything about me taht i read th bible front to back, it enlightened me to a new form of logic, and understanding, since then ive become a start gazer, and wen i ask god for signs, the stars move slowly, it happens all the time, and it happens right wen i ask and sometime 10 mins after...........then again, LIGHT IT UP!!!!!!

I have always thought the bible was more a metaphoric expression of ideas to live by. The the Church is a wonderful place to gain insight, encouragment and find like minded people but in the end it is on each of us alone to bring the good or the bad into our own lives through the choices we make and it is our own responsibility to seek out those things in life that will bring us pleasure or pain, or to seek reason when we have only ignorance. Of caurse every now and then we get some natural disaster to keep us motivated. But I think our struggle with our own ego is actaully good for us, it is what challenges us to be better people. It is when we fall that we learn to be humble.

It's not that I'm interested really, I think you're kinda full of it, but I am so incredibly amused at times. At times, sometimes you're just not funny at all.

Just shows what you know about my ego. My ego once overturned three trucks and killed a small child before it was brought under control. It whispers from behind me to point out how badly your sentence was constructed.

I agree with exactly what you said about how our ego gets in the way of knowing Jesus/enlightenment/nirvana/whatever you want to call it. But in this way Jesus even instructs to be extroverted. The new testament preaches service more than anything. Like when Jesus washed the feet of his disciples which was a task not even a slave had to perform. Jesus said that washing the feet of his disciples was an example of how humbly we should help and serve others.

Of course though, if one performs service and helps others only with the goal of entering heaven or some other metaphysical gratification he is wrong. One must completeley believe that serving and helping others is what is important. Heaven is not important. What we do on earth is important. For Too long people have been scared into believing for fear of going to hell [if the didnt belive]. and it has been too long that people have done good only with a personal goal of heaven in mind. Do goodness for the sake of others and goodness. Not for yourself.

Yea i think it is amazing how Jesus would even wash the feet sincerely of the people who were beating the crap out of him. It all comes from just knowing the truth.
