anemic, can be used to mean "not enough", "weak"
2k lumens is enough? where are you getting this? the 250w hps will have 29k lumens, and around here that would be considered pretty light (light as in "not heavy")
anyway, just know what you're getting into, and what you want to get out. hell, you can grow some weed under a single 26w cfl. it won't die. you'll get a couple bong rips from it
really, though, you're numbers are out there me-thinks. and it's not so much a question of whether you flower 2 or 8 plants under a 250w hps, it depends on how you grow them, and how big you're growing them (how much you let them veg first)
do you want to top? lst? scrog? sog? etc. etc.
let's put it this way: i had to fight folks here for them to let me get anything below 400w hps
good luck, and screwing up yourself is the best medicine. hell, get some bagseed and a dixie cup, fill it with yard dirt, put it under an incandescent and see what happenslearning is what it's all about, and it only happens through experience, which is why you shouldn't listen to anything i say
