nutrients/ferts????
mg soil will work, however your plants will most likely want more nutes. you must be very carefull not to overfertalize because the time released ferts cannot be flushed out of the soil. as for growing twice the size...yes, if the other plant was grown in soil with no nutes, but soil that has the optum amount of ferts could grow a plant twice the size of a plant grown in mg soil.
