pure sativas grow very tall and mature slowly - indicas stay short and bushy, and mature earlier - regardless, I prefer pure sativas or predominantly sativas :jointsmile:

Northern Lights is a GOOD indica...

Anything crossed with haze has some Sativa in it (as the original haze is Sativa)

Durban Poison is Sativa.

California bud is Indica. (Great strain too btw)

I also prefer the sativa high, but growing indicas inside if you have space limitations is much easier. I learned this the hard way.

Try to search the name of the strain you prefer and you'll find alot of threads about those strains and there charecteristics most likely.

finding 100% of either type of strain is going to be mighty difficult. Currently, almost all strains have been crossed, back-crossed, and recrossed with tons of other strains. Remember, a true pure sativa or indica must also demonstrater true indica/sativa phenotypes as well as have the original genetics. Durban poison is a good example of 100% sativa, but it would be nearly impossible to grow inside, and pure sativas aside from being lanky are finkicky eaters, and grenally hae unstable genetics, (hermi very easily) I would reccmoend more indica, but I doubt you'll come accross to many pure starins. NL is good as well as ak47, very easy frist plants. good luck.

There's conflicting and misleading information about the venerable Northern Lights. Some seed sites say "pure" indica. Other's, "mostly" indica.

From growing it personally, I noticed skinny blades, a sativa trait, on upper leaves, and here's a description you find on many sites:

Northern Lights was developed as an indoor cannabis seed strain in the late 1970s near Seattle in Washington, although the genetics involved in the cross were known to have come from California - the original home of a great many of the most famous cannabis seeds strains. It was initially a stabilised cannabis sativa strain crossed with an Afghani indica hybrid.

sensi star is just about pure indica......any haze is going to be a strong sativa, if you have the height.

there are hundreds of strains so people will all have a different answer, u need to find out what u like, research and read

Why do u want 100% of either. i mean i know why i like pure indicas but the hybrids are what most people go for.

If you go on any seed site u will find good description of the plants, what kinda high, yeild, ease of grow....etc.

Sensi star will knock you on your ass imo its pretty good indica. But how much do you want to spend on genetics.
