Rebgirl, you're going to have to find proof of that sniper claim for me to believe it. I'll bet money that's an urban legend about Sue, just like it was--and was false--about Mr. Rogers, too. Sue was a Canadian-trained nurse and a married mother/housewife and graduate student. In 1972, she opened a school health/birth control clinic, which began her career in sex ed. Her father was a decorated British war hero. That might have been where that rumor got its start.

I'm going to keep being doubled over with laughter, just as I was on hearing that Fred Rogers, who was actually a Presbyterian minister, was also a sniper and/or Navy SEAL (both also urban legends). But if you can find me some proof, I'll stop laughing and read it!
