also man , i dont know if this works or not, but ive heard it from the old timers around here to put a piece of copper wire around the base of your plant. the idea being to deter slugs, apparently they wont cross copper......

if you try the copper thing let me know if it works, ive never tested it out myself.

the copper thing is bullshit.
if that were the case farmers would circle their crops with copper wire.

Gatekeeper777 Reviewed by Gatekeeper777 on 04-01-2007. Are Deer A Serious Threat? I want to attempt my first grow outside this year/summer. The place i scouted out to my suprise (since it's on the edge of a large city) has deer, i spotted at least 2 maybe 3 in walking around the place for 45 minutes. I plan on starting the seeds inside for at least 3 to 4 weeks before planting. Is that long enough to stop deer. My only other location is deer free, though me thinks humans will be present especially teens. Do i have anything to worry about with Deer? Rating: 5
