Are Deer A Serious Threat?
I want to attempt my first grow outside this year/summer. The place i scouted out to my suprise (since it's on the edge of a large city) has deer, i spotted at least 2 maybe 3 in walking around the place for 45 minutes.
I plan on starting the seeds inside for at least 3 to 4 weeks before planting. Is that long enough to stop deer.
My only other location is deer free, though me thinks humans will be present especially teens.

yes, yes you do, those four legged fucks will munch on your reefer.
to avoid that , piss in a bottle and dump in a wide circle around your plant, also you can take a bar of soap and cut off shavings around your plants, basically anything you can do to make it smell like a human around your plants is good.

also man , i dont know if this works or not, but ive heard it from the old timers around here to put a piece of copper wire around the base of your plant. the idea being to deter slugs, apparently they wont cross copper......
if you try the copper thing let me know if it works, ive never tested it out myself.

you know how expensive copper wire is ?
there is no way farmers would be shelling out for that.
gate~ have you ever tried it though ? a lot of the old heads around here have been growing for ages....i tend to believe most of what they say, maybe i'll go find me a slug and encircle him in copper wire to see if its true
