Redbridge, a gluten-free Sorghum beer from Anheuser-Busch - it's the best that I've tried of several gluten-free beers that are available.

I have Celiac and can't have anything with wheat, barley, rye or their derivatives because these grains contain gluten, which makes me sick.

"Sorghum is a safe, old world grain (sorghum bicolor) for those allergic to wheat or gluten, several varieties of which are widely cultivated as grain and forage or as a source of syrup. In fact, beer made from sorghum has a long and established international history. The reason for the cropâ??s popularity abroad is a result of the large quantities of sorghum produced and consumed in Africa."

Funny, I have a DVD set of the old Rawhide TV Western series, filmed c. 1959, with Clint Eastwood, and one episode has the cook talking about making a batch of Sorghum beer.
