ok i dont know if this has been made already or not
SO DONT FLAME AT ME!!

but what i did was i took a 2 liter bottle, cut off the bottom and put a bowl on the cap... simple gravity bong right..

but the bowl had a rubber [non toxic(would smoke make it toxic)] tube that went into the water...


so when you pulled the whole thing up the smoke went under water and then got trapped by the bottle... pretty fucking sick


and if it was already made try it out people itsssss sooooo good:thumbsup:

Does it work real well though? I'm real tempted to try it, but with the grav top I'm using it'd be difficult and I don't know what I would use as the stem. I'd need to find some other stuff to use.

ahhh damn,

well what i did was I went to aubuchon hardware.. idk if you have that where you live but its a hardware store and went to the section which had all the sockets, joints, connectors for water piping and found the perfect thing it was a bowl shaped thing with a metal down stem that was 1 cm long... so i pulled that out of its plastic container thing walk two feet to my right to the plastic tubing and found the perfect fit...

then went to the faucet section and got those screens that go into the faucet head

easy as 1. 2. 3. lol

The thing is, I don't want to make the effort to go to a hardware store to buy bong parts when my current gravity bong works fine.

I'll make sure to try it one day. I'm just not going to bother in the mean time.

Just get a 20 $ bowl/stem from a headshop ..im still working on getting a person to bu for me...then the stem is a great size to but a hollow ballpoint pen tube on and that should give a good 6 inches deepinto the water...

ive been planning on this for about a week or two now just need to get the piece...

oh i didnt pay for everything at the hardware store
pocketed the little bowl thing and screens and payed for the tubing..

its definately worth trying one time, the burn is almost gone if you have it go through the water

Yeah, definitely been done before, but still congrats on thinking of it yourself. That way the smoke actually gets filtered, probably a gravity bong like that gives the best hits IMHO.

Someone made a post a while ago that was about this, making a grav bong out of a 2L bottle and a glass bowl and downstem that filters the smoke through water, like a real bong, but is used the same way grav bongs are used. The thread topic was something like "best gravity bong ever! cheeep!". If you search for the word cheeep (3 e's) you should find it, he had a pic of it and a video on YouTube of it in action. It's pretty sick.

Stemmed gravity bongs combine the advantages of gravity and standard bongs as well as giving a significant use for water as opposed to a lung. One of my personal favorites if I don't need to worry about hiding the thing.
