i always keep my stuff in a mason jar to keep it fresh and fluffy. the jar's locked in a safe.

The only place I've ever had to hide my stash is in my car when I'm travelling. That being said here's what I do.
Get a small metal box with a flip open lid, (3X6x4 should do) cut a small slot in front of the box,and drill a couple of small holes and braze a hose fitting where the holes are one on eathier side.weld the box,lid down to the firewall of your car.take a electrical fitting that fits in the slot you cut in the front of the box, install it from the inside,attach some wires to the fitting and run them around the engine compartment,making it look like they go to something,then using the hose fittings that are on the sides of the box,run a hose from the box to the air filter (or the air intake hose of a fiel injected car) and run another hose from the other hose fitting under the car somewhere.
Now you can put your really dank,smelly stash inside this box,and when you drive the car the hoses bring a bit of outside air thru the box,runs it thru the engine and out the tailpipe!! and if the cops look under the hood it look like a engine part!!
and if any dog can smell the stink after it has been run thru the combustion process then that dog has a super nose!!

I think the most important thing when hiding is never stash anywhere that it would only take one lucky move for someone to find. Like the printer- if anyone flipped up the little thingy- DOH! Theres your dope. Make them work for it, but because you know where it is it would be easier for you. kwim?

When I hide something I try not to think about it. A part of me wants to lose it. A part of me wants the bowl to be a surprise of grandeur-a gift from the Gods-when times get desperate. Out here in florida I've had a few friends who's Subwoofer boxs were torn open by cops looking for stuff...So I wouldn't try it with a large amount..

But normally I just keep my stuff in my drawer or if need be inside an old stero speaker sitting by my TV...the back slides on and off and no one would ever really think to check there
