    Tie down question, help plz.

Hey whats goin on? 'I' have 3 plants about 2 1/2 weeks into flower.. They have gotten a lot bigger than i wanted, or i should say expected :rasta:.

Anyways tying down the main stem has worked fine until now, but the sidebranches are starting to get too close to the light now.. im just wondering what would be the best way to tie-down/lower the branches (my lights have nowhere to go :frown:. peace.

id give em a day or 2 b4 burnage.

Well what method have you been using???? I use metal hanger wire cut into about 7-9 inch pieces and simply bend them in a U shape and after a good watering bend and insert the hanger into the dirt holding the bent stem in place. Hope that helps....

.. i am trying to make the side-branches lower, not the main stem, thats fine, they are the lower sidebranches too, like the 5th and 7th node they are like 17th node or higher and every node has a longer distance between, so tying down the main stem furthur wont do anything to lower the sidebranches that are high. tx tho.:rasta:

Try a Scrog grow. Get a wire mesh and mount it at the maximum height you can have, as the branches grow up through the mesh carefully tuck them back under every few days till they fill the screen. Should give you an awsome yeild if done half assed.

Never scroged before here, just seemed like an easy way to hold his plants back since he has few options anyways.

Tie the side branches down in a similar manner that you tied the main stem down comes immediately to thought for me..Or like he said, use metal hangers and put them in the dirt..Just tie em down bro...not like you can only tie down the main stem..
