I'd like to do it more often than I do, but around campus at the end of semesters, I have found all of my furniture, shelves and book cases, as well as CDs, DVDs, DVD players, and a $600 turntable that just needed a connection soldered to make it work.

Also, as far as maggots and flies and filthy food goes, Bizzle has mostly talked about bread shops. Bread doesnt attract all that stuff like wet foods do. And either way, an unoppened package of ham is exposed to less bacteria than your meal is when you sit outside for a picnic, or the fast food that anyone in the country eats.

Anyone whos worked in a retail position, be it a big or small company, should know that good stuff gets tossed out needlessly.
Very good points! I use to work at a Bakery when I was a kid, and most of the time the bread we threw out was still in the sealed plastic, so anyone who wanted to take it really didn't have to worry about filth, maybe sjust a bit of stale bread.

As for things gettin thrown out needlessly in retail, allo the places i worked the things that did get thrown out, got destroyed first! it was fun destroyin TV's and such
