But I am tired of people who are 'so down on their luck'. 99% of the time they are bitching just to bitch. Yes, hard times suck, been there done that have the t-shirt. The sun will come up tomorrow and its up to noone but yourself to change that.

I think its odd how someone can 'judge' me without ever knowing me or the person i was talking about. If you saw him in person and talked with him for 10 minutes, you would agree 100%. Everyone always did and probably always will. If you don't think its embarassing to get sent home in HS for lice and ringworm, then I guess we live on different planets.

Don't get me wrong, you don't need to be a CEO to be happy. I enjoy my (poor) college life and my pot. But when you don't put forth your best effort in *anything*. Well I just have no pity for that. My parents are/were both teachers and like I said, examples of the benefits of education. My sister now works on the *cheap* in D.C. as a lobbyist for immigrant rights. Not exactly the snobby type. She helps people who need it.

Yet, she went to the same fuckin school. With a little heart and persistence you can do anything you want. If your goal is to dig in dumpsters and fight fleas your whole life......then by all means go right ahead. But don't expect me to approve of it or get much respect from people.

I used to dumpster dive in the back of 4wheelparts for shocks/springs/good used tires. I used to be 'awww poor thing' just like everyone else. Then i grew up a little and realized that noone in life is looking out for you but your own self. I am not afraid to voice my opinion. Life is hard. Learn some skills and use an ounce of motivation (whatever strain you prefer) you won't need to dig in dumpsters.

People put bodies/feces/diapers/rotten food/dead animals in dumpsters.
It gets to the point where it is no longer a question of lifestyle, but rather a question of health and cleanliness.

But, as I said before, I don't mind if you are diving for someone of value. Hell, if its worth it, I'll HELP you. But if you are so broke that you cannot eat, i will PERSONALLY buy you a sandwich and a soda or Personally teach you how to catch and clean wildlife so you can have a lifetime of free/cheap food. Your hands and a little willpower are all the help you need.

Again, I was never bashing anyone. Just giving my opinion which I am entitled to. I think i've said all I can say.

Now go back -n- read everything you've posted in this thread and count how many times you've contradicted your self w/ just the last post college boy . You make no sense at all , so just quit . Next time dont make such an asshole outa yourself -n- you wont have to sit and try to defend your own stupid logic . No wonder you have your rep turned off , your a professional Asshole . LMFAO

Freeganism is basically economic veganism, its a method of challenging capitalism by the efforts to consume and buy as little as possible. Its the idea of reuse, reduce and recycle to the extreme in order to improve the social, economic, animal and environmental state of the world. and this involves, among many many things, living off the 'waste' or byproducts of the system. which involves dumpster diving or urban foraging in order to obtain Rating: 5
