Billy, don't fuck with me. Replace God with the word Karma.

Hell, you know I'm not even Christian. Why would you pull that tactic on me?

See, that's the problem. People who are actually raised better don't say stuff like that about people who are struggling. But, as Flannery O'Conner would say, "bad manners are preferable to no manners at all."

If nothing else, it gives me an idea of who to avoid.

No, he is not a CEO. I can tell you *EXACTLY* where he is.
Carrizo Springs, Texas digging through the garbage just like his parents taught him. Do you see the trend here? Maybe if he would have went to school like I did he would have gotten into college like I did.

I went to *the* 15th poorest school district in Texas. However, my sister and I were able to work hard enough to go to college. Ignorance is not an excuse. You know why he is digging through the trash? Because that what his parents taught him. If you think that is "OK", then by all means. Jump that dumpster and eat what I throw away.

I don't understand why I am the villian.....just because I was taught to be resourceful and self sufficient.

Hey nightlight. My sister graduated from yale in 04. New Haven is *quite* the spot.

That is was he was taught too, but to be truly self suffcient you have to do absolutley everything for your self. Just becasue you have a job that alows you to buy the nesecities and have some money left over does not mean you are self sufficient, you still realy on everyone else. You don't grow the cotton, you don't harvest the cotton or process it, you don't make the proccessed fabric into clothing. Think about it man, it is a complete allusion to think yourself 'self-sufficient'. We as a people sevuvie by this society no matter how small a cog in this machine, they are still a part trying to get along in life, and no onee in it should be treated like shit for how they were taught to go by society as a whole

    Bizzle,
That's a hefty bounty y'all procured! You sure have a sweet heart.

I like the occasional dumpster dive, but not for a good cause, it's more sport now. I probably wouldn't eat any food I found cause I'm a big weenie but I love the thrill of the hunt.
I'm not young and poor anymore but its still fun

    Valkyrie,
That guy certainly made an impression on you.

Mattsks- Would you rather see all that stuff in a landfill?

I'll have to call my dad and bitch him out for teaching me useful things. No I am not lucky to go to college. I earned that. Anyone can go to college nowadays. Its just about how much you want to go.

I never said I had money left over. I struggle enough as it is to pay my rent. You assume too much. You assume I was born with a silver spoon in my mouth. I was not. Thats *exactly* why I don't tolerate lazy ignorant people who resort to digging in trashcans their whole life. Get some ambition. Get a fucking job. God gave you hands and a brain. Use them.

My whole family (hispanic) are examples of the value of education. It is hard enough to get along in this world being hispanic. However, my parents *overcame*. How? By persistence and never giving up.

85% of everyone here doesn't have the ability to be self suffcient. Plenty of people think their meat comes from the supermarket. I have slaughtered more steers than most people have eaten hamburgers. Don't tell me I'm not self sufficient because I will just prove you wrong.

So yes, I'll go out and take an animal, skin that bastard in my backyard and put it in my freezer before I ever go out digging in dumpsters looking for food. And if that makes me an asshole, whatever. Perhaps I have too much pride.

A fish out of a dumpster will feed a man for a day. Teaching a man how to catch and clean a fish, you feed him for a lifetime.

EDIT: no, never made an impression. I actually hadn't thought about ole homey until I read this thread. Reminded me exactly of his fat flea ridden broke ass digging through dumpsters. Pitiful and worthless and (lets not kid ourselves) always will be.
