The Iranian Government is (I believe) drawing attention away from the recent nuclear restriction talks and trying to highlight this incident.

Not every Iranian wants to bomb/kill other people, but alot do, by watching their propaganda broadcasts of death to Israel and the west, the government sponsoring of terrorism (hamas for example) the power structure of Iran is drawing their people into a bad situation.
