I live in cali and the best thing we have out here is our Kushes. There are many good kushes and kush crosses but they have some similarities - they have a musty, almost moldy but pleasant aftertaste, the buds break up easily into nice chunky little pieces and the high is very very potent. And living in cali, I have tried a lot a good weed - kushes are the best.
Some examples of strains are OG Kush, Pussy Kush, Banana Kush, Orange Kush, Bubba Kush etc. Just thinkin about them makes me feel good.

depends on where in cali ur at. from off the top of my head. up north you got ur kush(named in the above posts),cronic(ak-47,northern lights,pinapple,silver haze,grapefruit,skunk#1#2,white widow,much more. the purps(grandaddy,lavender,purple skittles,purple erkel,much more but i can say for myself the best weed ive smoked so far is Ogere and blue dream this blue dream i'll say i havent seen so much shit on weed since i started smokin! down south not too much green anything lol dnt have nothing to say about brown weed later dude. hope this gave you some insight.
