growing and legal riskes
do you know the risks you face growing/possessing/using and even selling cannabis?
i'm wanting to start growing, but as i'm still in an appt. i'm hesitant to do so. i live in the usa, in the state of colorado
i've heard some things about lax laws around here, and certainly my town is a HUGE pot town (perhaps you can guess where i am
); in fact on 420 a massive amount of students at the university go and smoke on campus, on a field; and have been (for the most part) un-prosecuted in that case
so, i'm wondering, especially for growers but for others as well, how much do you grow? do you know what the penalties would be if you got busted? what about side problems, would you lose a job? a career? an education?
it makes me sick that i have to ask this question; it's not just wrong but disgusting that anyone should suffer from growing a plant, especially this oneuzybear Reviewed by uzybear on . growing and legal riskes do you know the risks you face growing/possessing/using and even selling cannabis? i'm wanting to start growing, but as i'm still in an appt. i'm hesitant to do so. i live in the usa, in the state of colorado i've heard some things about lax laws around here, and certainly my town is a HUGE pot town (perhaps you can guess where i am :) ); in fact on 420 a massive amount of students at the university go and smoke on campus, on a field; and have been (for the most part) un-prosecuted in Rating: 5

Go to norml.org to check the laws by state, go to webehigh.com to get a little bit better of city analysis. My guess is san fran?
It's just a choice you have to make... and you can't see the future of that choice. But we can't see the future of any of our choices. We can only be cautious and careful in the present, to try and protect our future.

This should be moved to the grow lounge where us growers hang out...
But I fear loss of my job the most.
The good news is that you should not get busted if you use your head, keep shit small, and for God's sake, DON'T SELL IF YOU'RE GROWING!!!
Involve as few people as possible; if you have excess to unload, take it to your favorite cousin who lives in the next county and has family loyalty towards you to keep from ratting if he gets pulled over with a QP in the glovebox.
If you can't keep your mouth shut, don't grow. Period.

I don't think it's a good idea to grow in apartment. But I guess if you don't have to reconstruct anything and you can get away with the smell the plants may produce and hide the lights from shining and hide all unusual noises and stop nosy people from watching what you might be bringing in your apt you could be ok.
Oh and please don't tell anyone. If they know where you live and is either against or likes marijuana you can bet they won't be forgetting about what you told 'em.
