You cannot go to jail in the state of california for anything under 28 grams. They can though take it from you,give you a fatty ticket and send you on your way,you will get a notice and have to show up to court where the judge will prob give you community service and probation or send you to rehab if you dont show up to court you get a warrent in your name and are wanted so when you do get caught agin you go straight to jail.
