i never said they come off the lot ready to out-handle other cars.... just they are more suited for street racing where alot fo handling is needed.... just like an american muscle needs money dropped on it as well to become some super powerful torque-monster speed demon.... they didn't come off the lot as we know them today either.... just picutre an american muscle cars, and tell me how far 'off the lot' it is... lol... most muscle these days has lots of mods and what not...

with all that being said... who actually races (not the occasional red light race either... talking about underground racing) a stock car? chances are, if you're racing someone, they've already dropped 5k+ on upgrades...
