Ok i did not say it would do much over 90mph but off the line this car is quick. It is very light and the rebuilt 4 cilinder moves it prety quick. Also it is a 5 speed and since I know how to drive/shift it will own most cars OFF THE LINE If you want to argue over top speed thats a different thing.:trooper:

Four50HP383Chevy I see even by your name that you arent a big fan of imports... Thats all right I like them more then Domestics (although my friend just bought a 97 Trans AM sic domestic car). But you canot deny the weight of the civic... its miniscule its a 3 door.

i never said they come off the lot ready to out-handle other cars.... just they are more suited for street racing where alot fo handling is needed.... just like an american muscle needs money dropped on it as well to become some super powerful torque-monster speed demon.... they didn't come off the lot as we know them today either.... just picutre an american muscle cars, and tell me how far 'off the lot' it is... lol... most muscle these days has lots of mods and what not...

^^^Bingo
I mean hey..imports and domestics...both have stong and weak points...just depends what your aiming for... now about the civic beating people off the line...yeah, if it's done correctly...FF cars can have insane amounts of grip off the line...but hey hondas are know for their rev happy torque less motors...you need torque to get off the line quick... alot of nice rides in here too.. I'm a fan of all makes/models of cars and trucks... I'm intrested in Imports cause thats what I'm playing with right now.. I also love baja trucks (I grew up in CA and used to go play in the sand alot..lol).. old school muscle cas are always dope, cause it takes alot of time to bring something old back to new condition..then make it even better...
I just appreciate anyone who puts work into their rides...It's all about expressing yourself through your car..
that turned into a rant lol
