I hear ya, Markass... ok that's the same cool tube thing as used in the JOURNAL.

Like I said up there...there is one piece of metal that can be traced to the end (where the end of the bulb contacts the socket)...that is positive. The other piece of metal leads to the side. Thats the other one (neutral). It takes a bit of tracing it, but it is clear once you got it.

Cuz a bulb has to be connected on the bottom (tip of the spirally thing) which is the hot contact...and then it also has to have contact ON the spiral part... that is the neutral.
