    wiring a cool tube

One screw head is gold, one is silver...I was comparing it to the other socket that I took off of my batwing, and where the silver screw is on my c/t base, is where the white wire is on the other one. I would guess that's correct?

fog, I posted it in the lounge cause I needed a quick reply..

I hear ya, Markass... ok that's the same cool tube thing as used in the JOURNAL.

Like I said up there...there is one piece of metal that can be traced to the end (where the end of the bulb contacts the socket)...that is positive. The other piece of metal leads to the side. Thats the other one (neutral). It takes a bit of tracing it, but it is clear once you got it.

Cuz a bulb has to be connected on the bottom (tip of the spirally thing) which is the hot contact...and then it also has to have contact ON the spiral part... that is the neutral.

Hope that helps. If you don't understand what I'm saying, let me know.

This is for growing tomatoes, right?
