I might try and switch back to COCO now that I have a bit more experience growing stuff I have been using it with house plants and Its working out pretty good, Just as well as Peat and compost. well not quiet as well but pretty close.

I think that not having a transplant is really whats hurting me, In terms of PH and bad soil. The salt buildup is probs pretty huge, Considering the buildup of Salts I see on the Lid of the container etc.

I really don't want to have to do a transplant since I grow in such small areas. Small pots help me manage space better. etc. But this is somthing I will have to look into I think. Or perhaps checking out a flushing solution might be in order. Or switching to ffeed , water, feed , water schedual. instead of feeding with every watering.


On A side note
I got some of the Fox Farm Marine cusine yesterday for my balcony Veggies etc. It looks pretty cool. The guy said If I mix that food with a soil mix its basically FoxFarms Marine soil mix.
