I also remember seeing the fans at the Eagles NFC championship game boo Santa off the field at halftime. because they were losing the game. You guys are crazy.

didnt see that one, doesnt surprise me in the least though. the Flyers are the only Philadelphia team i follow, i'm closer to pittsburgh than philly. so i follow the steelers the buccos and PITT basketball.

when it came time to decide my hockey team i hated the way pittsburgh played. trying to outscore an opponent and not giving two shits about defense. i liked the attitude of the Flyers. if you can't beat them on the scoreboard, beat them on the boards!

I didn't really follow the Flyers this year, except the 8 loses they had to us, but in years past they have always had a tough team. I can still see Hexstall chasing that guy with the stick. I was also at the game like 5 years back when Darius Kasparaitis laid Lindros out... one of the best days of my life... we won 6-4

yeah those eight losses hurt. i used to go to school near erie, i was one of the very few flyers fans amongst a sea of penguins fans.....i was ridiculed relentlessly this year.

Only a true fan can weather a storm like the Flyers had this year, my hat is off to you. I went through hell last year, we were terrible, but atleast I could see a light at the end of the tunnel ...Crosby. You should see it around here, now that we made the playoff all the "Fair weather fans" come out, people that cant name anybody on the team besides Crosby... It makes me sick.

i've let it be known many times that i am defenitely not a fair weather fan. i wore my jersey to the bar last night and we finished dead last. the year we almost went to the cup finals but lost to tampa bay in game seven. i wore my jersery to a concert the next day. every time that pittsburgh and philly played i would wear my jersey to around campus no matter who won.
