    lol i take care of my dog. i live in a very uptight neighborhood tho where people are quick to call the athorities.

    basically if my dog goes off of my property without me walking him animal control is called. everytime they come they just bring him back to my house and i laugh. the worst thing hes done was mess up a dog who came in my yard lol.

    but really i do take car of him but my neighbors are just pricks

    its probly because hes a pitbull

    by giant i mean a yard layed out and 25lbs and they are hella pissed they said there is nothing i can do to make it right and that i cant replace it because have had it since it was the size of his fist. I really feel bad about this but he wont even talk to me
    there gate and the shed they kept the bunnny in were left open

    I hope you gave your dog a good ass kicking for doing that.

    I would talk to them first, apologize, A LOT, and offer to buy them another bunny.

    For now though, I would be giving that dog a nice punishment for the time being.

    Learn from this mistake. Don't blame this on other people as you should have checked to see if the gate was closed. Don't say, "well everyday for the past so and so and no problems" that's why it's called an accident. They do happen, and you, the owner of this dog, is your reponsibility and your fault.

    I agree, there is no way to punish the dog after the fact. You have to do it right after he comitted the act.

    As for the OP, I would obviously take care of all expenses they had for the vet. Let them know you are sorry, and will be there when they are ready to talk. Dont get too pushy, chances are they wont want to talk to you right now. When the time comes offer to buy a new bunny.

    wait why punish a dog for an accident? it only did what came natural.
