Whats your choice of mouse, and why?

I have two, a standard microsoft optical, and a saitek 1200dpi laser, much prefer the ms as the laser is more fussy about surfaces ( usually on the bed as my pc's in the bedroom for late night surfing)

and the most annoying thing about the laser mouse is that i can lift it like 3 or four inches off the surface and it still scans and moves the cursor which is suicide when playing games....i didnt realise how much i lifted up and re-centered the cursor untill i plugged the laser mouse in....
in the middle of a death match i found myself spinning 180 degrees instead of lining my aim up.

mind you, ive not installed any mouse drivers, just running xp mouse drivers, maybe if i installed a driver for the laser mouse i could fine tune it a bit.
( i bought the laser mouse cheap in a clearence sale unboxed with no software)

both are quite big ( i have big hands so they need to be ) although the shape of the laser mouse is beter for control, its so light in wight, im tempted to take it apart and add some bllast to make it more heavy.

my opinion is that the microsoft optical is an unbeatable all-rounder.

what mice do u use and why??
