You could use a bathtub, or a large sink. Might be hard to save resin though.

Cleaning the pHx ok... i wanna use the salt + alcohol method, cuz 420 is horrible now that its "all natural" I just dont like the white mineral deposits that the salt leaves on the inside of the glass... That would work, but wouldn't the water leak out through the carb?

thanks bob, I actually have the buddy already... but i rarely use it...

One time i tried to use the tiny magnet to clean inside the perc, and it basically got stuck there. I was tryin to get it out for more than an hour...

has anyone even noticed a white film on the inside of their glass...or am i the only one?

It's caused by a calcium buildup from the water..isn't it? The harder the water, the more calcium there is.

Thats what i always thought...

But the guy at my headshop suggested that i was using a weak salt (Morton's Salt) and it was reacting with the alcohol leaving the white residue.

Either way it sucks... i think im gonna put Draino or someother mineral solvent and just rinse it out real good...

I usually wash it out with antibacterial foaming dish soap after cleaning it anyways.
