You should go shopping with her and suggest her clothes that make her look skinnier. I use to be a pretty big guy, I use to wear clothes that minimize how fat I truly was, and that'll help with self-confidence, knowing that she doesn't have to squeeze into clothes to make her think she looks sexy.
