how'd you get out of school?

I always just booked too... I am suprised to hear about this Gestapo type system that is in place... Do you think it is actually money driven???

You know I'm not sure exactly how it works, but I know that the schools get a certian (sp??? very tired) amount of money for the children in attendance and if they are not there (without a proper excuse) the school gets no money for that child. My daughter has been out of school for a few years so I haven't kept up with all the new school policies. This is just what I've heard on the news and read in the paper. Might not even apply to all of California, but I know it's in effect here and LA for sure.
