Blunts are in no way chiller than vapes if you're getting caught from the smell of them.

Luckily for me, my parents (specifically, my father) smoke just as much if not more weed than I do. They don't like me doing it, but they don't throw a fit if the living room smells like cannabis either. So long as I keep my bud (and any bought accessories) in a safe location, I can do what I please.
