just get it nice and clean as to where if they inspect it ( like pick it up and look at it ) they would believe it hasnt been used. make sure to get rid of the smell that can be a giveaway.

Ok like I have a very resinated pipe and I love this pipe and I want to go traveling with it and soon I will be on a plane. Anyways I was thinking if I clean all the resin out with alcohol and let it sit in rubbing alchol for one night and then I wash it out with soap and then I let it sit in very hot water for awhile and then let it sit in mouth wash for one night and then wash it out with alcohol again and then rinse.... would any dog be able to smell my pipe still? can dogs even smell the Rating: 5

i mean if i completly clean off all the residue as much as possible... i dont see how it will be illegal.... what happens tho if i leave like some residue the size of this period -> . can they bust me with that?

if there's anything...absolutely ANYTHING that is related to drugs..it's drug paraphernalia..it's not worth the risk...just go buy a new one to take with you..it's much better than sitting in jail.

answering your question more clearly...yes. anything at all..if it has resin, it's a drug pipe..if it's clean, it's the same as it was legally sold as...a tobacco pipe.

I brought a pipe I smoked out of back from Mexico. I cleaned it up and stuff it deep into the bags I checked. Worked like a charm :rastasmoke:

If your over 18, and you cleaned it to the MAX! Then you should have no worries. At all. The worst they can do is take it away. Like I said as long as it looks brand new then dont worry about it. Ive brought one back from Thailand. But do try and hide it.

If you really are that attached to it and you are worried about getting caught (which I would be with a highly resonated pipe, as its hard to get them sparkling again) then just ship it. It may cost a lot, but if you care about the pipe that much, wouldn't you rather pay with money then with your freedom?

I have experience too; bought 2 glass spoon at Blunt Brothers in Vancouver a couple years ago and left them in the sack, unused with receipt and put into my carry-on bag. I got to customs and they were confiscated for being against the "paraphenalia laws" and I was sent on my way with a note explaining what I do if I want to lodge a complaint. Ive had cannabis flakes all over the inside of my bag when the hash puppies came by in new zealand. Dogs are amazing at picking up smells but I sincerley doubt theyd even find a well resinated pipe, amongst all the other airport smells
