    Nine Leafs per fan

    Anyone know how many Strains there are that have Nine Leafs to a fan. Here is a clear picture of what these plants look like. I am wondering if I can narrow down what strain these might be.

    I think they are mainly a Indica type of plant.

    I got some really good bud about 6 months ago. Out of an OZ, I found 8 seeds. So I am not sure what strain I am growing.

    I always thought that most all strains have 7 leafs per fan when mature. And only a few get 9 leafs.

    All of the leafs? No. The first stage was 3, then 5, then 7. now it is starting to grow 9 leafs per fan.

    Really? Interesting. Im doing some bagseed that has nine leaves - I didn't think it was all that special, but I don't know that much about growing.. In fact I'm pressing one leaf to keep a record of it. I found it pretty.

    edit - in fact. I think we've got the same, or a very similar, strain. the leaves are identical in size, shape and color.
    My First Grow Right now, starting 5th week of flower.

    number of leafs means noting theres mant myths about it determining sex and outher things but number of leaves will not help u determin much.. the only clean factors and fat leaves or skinny leaves.. and many the fact that in 2 plants of the same strain the male tends to grow taller and lanker than the female in the exact same conditions... and my 2cen its indo dom probly gl with grow. i my self have see 3 coledon seedlings with 3 singles and 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12 bladed leafs but i have grown many plants and some huge out door monsters.

    cant remember what it was but i think it was something like most Indica have short and wide leaves and most sativa have long and not so wide leaves. hope this helps you.

    I'm only on my first grow, but most of my plants have leaves with more than 5 blades. I think plants that are healthy will have more, and plants that are being stressed will have less. But overall, I don't really think there's a set number of blades.
