I don't think that you can have a simple explanation about god...
it's too Complex... your lying to yourself if you believe you know why he is.

But a very logical reason god came about is that Kings from like 2000 years ago created him to keep order in their kingdoms and keep their soldiers in line and willing to fight and die.
