logical explenation for God

i believe in god not religon but god sometimes it makes me feel better to fool myself to beleive there is someone watching over us. But a very logical reason god came about is that Kings from like 2000 years ago created him to keep order in their kingdoms and keep their soldiers in line and willing to fight and die. Jus my 2 cents what do you guys think??

I think you should be aware that the concept of God is more than 2000 years old first of all. What kingdoms were Moses or Abraham lord of. I was unaware that either of these two individuals controlled any armys. In fact Moses wanted no part of God. Yet he felt a strong urge to move when God said to.

Why is it hard to believe in something you don't understand? Do you believe in science? Have you seen theories come to life? That takes some faith.

God is mindful of us, believe it.

how many threads are we gonna keep having about this topic???? i mean honestly you people argue and argue and no one gets anywhere

u basically have the enlightend stoners who are all for a higher power vs. the skeptical stoners aka atheists...and dont forget about the happy stoners who just want both sides to be happy and say u can believe whatever u want

just face it....u cant prove or disprove either side of the argument....were all gonna die one day...some of us may be correct, others wil be wrong, hell we all could be wrong for all i know so dont claim to know

the fact is there is evidence supporting both sides of the god or no god argument....but in the end its faith...just like with most things that arent even related to god...like evolution for example...is there tons of evidence for it? yes there is....does it seem very logical and even likely? yes i think so....is it proven fact? hell no, the last step is faith if you belive in evolution (i do by the way)

While I agree with most of what you said there, I don't think it's a very fair assumption to say that only stoners who believe in god can be "enlightened".
