logical explenation for God
THIS IS THE TRUTH RIGHT HERE
In the Bullshit Department, a businessman can't hold a candle to a clergyman. 'Cause I gotta tell you the truth, folks. When it comes to bullshit, big-time, major league bullshit, you have to stand in awe of the all-time champion of false promises and exaggerated claims: religion. No contest. No contest. Religion. Religion easily has the greatest bullshit story ever told.
Think about it. Religion has actually convinced people that there's an invisible man -- living in the sky -- who watches everything you do, every minute of every day. And the invisible man has a special list of ten things he does not want you to do. And if you do any of these ten things, he has a special place, full of fire and smoke and burning and torture and anguish, where he will send you to live and suffer and burn and choke and scream and cry forever and ever 'til the end of time!
But He loves you.
He loves you, and He needs money! He always needs money! He's all-powerful, all-perfect, all-knowing, and all-wise, somehow just can't handle money! Religion takes in billions of dollars, they pay no taxes, and they always need a little more. Now, you talk about a good bullshit story. Holy Shit!

But a very logical reason god came about is that Kings from like 2000 years ago created him to keep order in their kingdoms and keep their soldiers in line and willing to fight and die. Jus my 2 cents what do you guys think?? Rating: 5

the idea of God as a creator of the universe, IS a logical fact in science. If scientists are trying to find out how the universe was created they have to think of all the possibilities. God sits right next to the Big Bang Theory as a reason why the universe is hear. Athiests who dont believe in a creator are mindless.
Saying there is no God is like saying you know all the secrets to the universe. my theory: keep an open mind about everything:bigsmoke:

BTW, there's actual physical evidence for the big bang theory including galactic momentum and radiation patterns that point to certain types of movement and direction. Even if it's not the correct theory, the creator-of-the-universe award doesn't go to God by default.

I'm seeing alot of people saying stuff that more or less follows this quotation;
"Religion is the opiate of the masses." -Karl Marx.
my witty response to this is;
"Lucidity is the hallucinogen of the masses." - Jack the Tripper (think about it!)
Enough of that, though.
Personally, although I am not religious I have alot of respect for many religions and many religious people, and I do believe in God, although not necessarily a God that resembles the standar Judaio-Christian God.
I came to my belief through logic. I asked myself quite simply...
"What is more logical? The idea of a bunch of particles randomly exploding and expanding into a universe with a neat three dimensions and one overpowering race of bipeds, or some higher power creating a neat little universe where 0=0?" The second, in my opinion, is by far the more logical.
Am I high right now? Most definitely.

I suppose this omnipitant and omniscient higher power, so complex and all powerfull as to be dictator of the universe and creator of humanity, must have been created by a higher power right? I mean something that incredible, more complex than anything we know of, couldn't simply arise by a bunch of particles randomly exploding right?

My opinon is shit in one hand pray with the other and see which one fills up first. Just an opinon, but i find it hard to believe something when i cant see it. and lately i have been thinkin that we are all just biological organisms that live on earth for a period of time and then thats it thats all. if the theory of god is true then does every single living thing on this planet go to heaven/hell when it dies, even amoebas? tripp to think about tho
take it easy,
