Rolling Phillies

hey guys, in my town everyone rolls with blunt wraps, or the real rollers rol games and dutchies..but i hate blunt wraps, they are to strong in flavor and you get more blunt wrap than weed. They are also too floppy and fragile so they rip, so i want to learn how to roll cigars instead..and phillies are the easiest to get sinc eyou can get em in packs and they are the most durable so i have heard..bbut my question is..how exactly do you roll them?i know you..

-crack it open
-take out guts
-split the top and take off cancer paper the lick back together
-***this is the part i dont know..is there glue paper on a phillie.. if so what do you do***?
-then you have just the paper and you rock it to pack down the weed and make it tight..then tuck and lick and there you goo


This is what i have been told..if i am wrong please tell me ..and also tell me better more afficient ways to roll along with other cigars..im not ready for a game or a dutchie yet cause thats king shit..you gotta roll good to do those and i am just starting..so please help thanks guys

phillies are good.. but to me rolling a dutch is so much easier.. its really simple just take a look a few more threads down "how to roll the perfect dutch".


i learned how to roll my first l with a dutch. and i dont roll with anything else, cept games too)


the glue is just a strip on the side on the paper, just rip it off

Dawg you seem confused. Good decision to want to use real shit and not wraps.

Okay you want either an Optimo, a Swisher, or a Philli. Those are cigarillos (they really aint cigars), and those three brands seem to be the most roller friendly. So get a normal sized cigarillo (about the size of a bic pen), and the danker it is the easier it is going to be to roll. If the cigarillo is all cracker dry its gonna crack easily, so make sure you pick out a dank single or better yet get a pack. Seriously though if the blunts real dry dont try to roll it, gonna be a bad experience for someone who doesnt know how to.

Okay so now youve got a nice, smooth, not dry cigarillo (watermelon flavored if your down). Get out your knife and cut the bitch open with a straight line (slowly but surely make one long incision) and dump the backy out. Now you should not have to lick the wrap AT ALL until you get to the rolling. However, if the wrap is coming apart (the "wrap" is two parts, they should just stay together for the whole thing but cigarillos unravel easily) then go ahead and lick the outer wrap and push it back down. If the blunts is dank enough no licking should be required though and that will ultimately make it burn better (the drier the better for burning, very key).

Okay so now get your 1-1.5gs of wanna and grind/crumble wutevs. Sprinkle it in, push it in towards the middle a little so it wont spill and start to roll with your thumbs and index fingers. Slowly but surely, dont spill weed. Roll the crumbled herb until it starts to form a log, every time you roll it a little you can push it down with your thumb a little to help shape it. Eventually, you shall thoroughly lick the upper flat and close that shit. If your good at rolling you could lick it and close it in just a press or 2 (the better you get at this the easier it is to make a cone), but when i started I know id always have to do a few presses to close a blunt. Dry it out good with a lighter. Poke the ends. just blaaaaaaaze

i would love to roll a dutch, bbut i heard they were hard , i was told to start off easy with a swisher or a phillie then move on to games and dutchies

and no body answered me..does it have a glue line? and if so how can you see it..like what if it is in the middle of the blunt it would ruin the whoel thing? and can you just bite off the tip instead of taking off the cancer paper ..which is better/easier please help i really wanan learn how

It's easy. Most of the time people make things harder than it has to be. Just be patient and wait until you get the shit and you'll see the cancer paper. It's a strip that's darker than the 1st and 2nd layer wrap and it's about an inch long on the mouth piece. Honestly you're smoking tobacco anyways so you're wasting your time thinking you're saving your lungs by taking the paper off. If I were you I'd just crack the blunt open, spill the guts and put weed in and roll it up. Both layers ensure slow burning. Blunts burn slow anyways but of course the more the slower it burns. You could just take 1st layer off then take cancer paper off then try and put 1st layer back on but that's too much work, I just crack em and put weed in and roll it up .
