theres no question i need to transplant but will being rootbound show the problems listed above?

it can cause growth problems no way of knowing if its causing your specific problems are not, would just transplant and see if it helps chances are they will improve. you also might want to use some superthrive or other nutrient to help reduce transplant shock and encourage root growth.
