I like some of your music...pretty unique. Just a questions for you..

Did you use FL to make those? I see that the way you mentioned FL in your post was kind of sayin that the quality of the music you can make on there is not top notch. Just wondering why you say that...I know FL is more of a 'beginner' DAW as opposed to Reason or ProTools...but, still, I'm pretty sure anything that can be made on Reason can be done on FL. I'm pretty sure that the song "What You Know About That" by TI (I use this as an example because I'm sure you've heard it, and it was the biggest song in the country[USA] for a while) was done using FL (among other external equipment most likely, but still). Also, the producer 9th Wonder (who produces for Jay-Z, Beyonce, among others) uses FL. These are pretty big projects using that "dry, fruityloops quality in the production".

Also, this is not a disagreement post, rather just a question to you (you seem to know what your doing in terms of production). I have been dabbling in FL Producer Edition, and the quality of the music seems like anything that could be heard on the radio to me.

Even though using only DAW's are frowned upon in the industry...how else would one start out? It seems to be the cheapest, efficient way to start out in production. I say this, because I'm begining to really get into this stuff...I love hip-hop, and it would be my dream to be involved with it as a career. My friend is a great writer and lyricist, so we are trying to get a project together. But, I dunno if producing with FL would be taken too lightly and looked over as bad quality like you seem to do.

Any comments would be appreciated...
