I feel your pain man. I worked many jobs like that before I ended up in the career that I am in now. You will always tend to find jerks who end up as your boss but ocassionally you do get some good ones....like me

I would say (dont use them as a reference). And just try and keep a good attitude and work ethic in your next job. I can teach just about anyone how to do my job. I just have an extremely hard time finding people who have good attitudes and are willing to work hard and be coachable.

You would be amazed at how many business professionals come into fast food types of jobs looking for people who are working hard and have good attitudes. Thats how I got a few of my jobs and how I have found a bunch of my current team members. One at a resturant and one at a pizza joint. Guy just came up to me and said "would you be interested in coming to interview with me"?
