To my favorite band, the best band ever. When I speak of Grandaddy, I do with a strong overwhelming bias. You end up strangling my throat to make sure I don't speak another word. I do not care what people say to change my opinion. "Grandaddy ripped off O.K. Computer" or "Grandaddy sounds just the Flaming Lips." Some only like a specific albums and dislike the rest, because their style and sound is so variant. I love them all. Each song they play, is filled with harmonious melodies that puts on in a trance, calm as a wind, filling your ear drum with beauty in sound. Pure ecstacy.

It's sad I discovered them later in life. I still remember the first day I listened to Grandaddy, I picked up the album that came out "Sumday." Later that night, I was tripping on 2c-i and I put on the album. For that time, I never heard such beauty, never heard truer words spoken. My entire trip started to wrap around the ecstacy of the sound. That night changed my entire life. Through the whirlwinds of colors, and neon polymeric shapes, I never felt so overwhelmed and touched by any piece of music. It was the day I fell in love with the world and Grandaddy. I still remember the last lyrics in that album, the song "The Final Push To The Sum." Jason Lytle in an operatic voice sings "What have I become....." Those words changed my life.

4 years later, while my lust has cooled down, my passion for Grandaddy lives on. It sounds just as beautiful as the first day I heard it.

And I recommend you all to hear the best band ever!!
