A friend of mine knows a grower who claims he pulls at least 8 to 10 pounds of weed off a single 6 foot plant in a perlite mix in big pots with out checking the ph at all...never! He says he doesn't know why people bother with ph testing since he believes its not needed. This technic has been used for over 20 years by the people closest around him (like a secret recipe if u will),The main concept is to get the most pot off one plant ...less plants less risk right? Does anybody have any idea or Rating: 5

Lol man I wish I could get 10lbs off one plant. Women would approach me naked, men would see me as a god and there'd be world peace.
And dogs would let you hump their leg, AB..................

Pounds yes but 8-10lbs is pretty hard to believe. The biggest I've been around was a 12' Humboldt Skunk heavy with long spears and buds but the largest one only produced 3.4lbs of dried and well manicured buds...nowhere near 8-10lbs which I can't see possible to hang that much on a single plant. Perhaps 5lbs or so might be plausiblebut i don't know about that even and anything beyond that just sounds way to good to be true. Maybe it was weighed untrimmed and wet, that would fit in there...
And PH testing is very important for indoor grows, not so critical for outside. Some water supply systems are way too low while others come out of the tap off of the scale high, especially those in the desert SW.
