    Hash oil, alcohol method

Alright, so I got some 91% isopropyl alcohol, put in 5g of some regs with it in a bottle and its been soaking for exactly 4 days in 3 hours from now.

Think its ready to evaporate? I'll try 'n post pics soon but I don't know where my camera is.

Also I took apart a tea bag to use to strain it, but my current dilemma is what am I going to pour the alcohol onto to let it evaporate?

The only thing I can really think of is a frisbee...would that be fine? Or what would be a better surface for this?

Once I got the hash oil, whats the best way to store it?

Well... though isopropyl alcohol is not the better choice for making hash oil (as its somewhat hard to evaporate), it works too... i would sugest to simmer it in a water bath (see the Green Dragon recipe), to make the extraction WAY faster.
The alcohol will be ready to be evaporated when it become dark brown/green. As darker, as better.
A frisbee can be a nice place to evaporate it... but i would prefer a shallow glass dish. The hash oil is EXTREMELY sticky, and is far easier scrape it from glass than from plastic. When you were to scrap the hash oil, put some warm water into the dish. The water makes the hash oil to stick less to the glass.
I store it in a small plastic box. But any place with smooth internal surfaces (for avoid the hash oil stick too much) is good.
Any questions, just ask! And good luck!

Well, I just strained it and I put it in a bowl instead.

Unfortunately my dad decided to knock on my door and sketch me out so I spilled a little when I was putting it under my bed, THEN I go to get it and party of my bed sheet soaked it up! I squeezed as much as I could back out though.

I just hope it doesn't affect my yield, it doesn't seem like a noticeable amount is gone.

Coel I don't know what you are talking about, alcohol has a very fast evaporation rate. If you put it on your skin you can feel it evaporate much faster than say, water.

I strained it into the bowl about 30min ago and I can already see it evaporating.

You are right... isopropyl alcohol boils at 82C... i thought it was more than 100C... It was my mistake... :error:
