Yup..I was raised in the Bible-belt,and I'm dang glad that I was..my old man,was 6' 5",and 220 lbs of pure redneck meaness..being the oldest son,meant that I got most of the whuppins and was held responsible when either I or my brother did something wrong..most of the time. And now,years later,some of my family have told me that they felt sorry for me,gitin the worst of it,from my dad..which was a surprise to me..I thought that I had dang near everything coming to me,that I got..but they assured me,that I really was gittin the short end of things and that he was too hard on me..oh well..I'll never use it as an excuse,because I do believe that my old man loved me enough to be hard on me and make me into a man. I told him,about 5 years ago,that I was grateful for him trying to keep my brother and I,in line and that I did not hold it against him.
