whats torogs problem?
p.s torog was raised in the bible-belt, it's what he knows/believes, cant change people, places, or things. same with alot of these muslims from poor, dusty, miserable-ass desert towns/villages. they are angry w/good reasons but they have been taught that God is a vengeful, hating entity & when you are left ignorant & cant read you only know what your taught. children are taught hate, it is not something they are born with. unfortunately alot of organized religion bashes other beliefs & teaches their young that any other veiw of the world other than theirs is grounds for death. WTF? i personally believe that God is in each & every one of us & that we dont need to go to a place of worship to find him or give 10% of of our income to be saved. we are Gods' children & if you are a believer be good to yourself & those around you & you will be admitted to his kingdom. if you prey on the old & weak & take their money for a false blessing or repentance then you should be executed. whats torogs problem?
My father was the same way Torog...but I have raised my kids not to be intimidated. They know right and wrong but they are not afriad to talk to me or to their dad. They call me almost everyday...we are very close...I never had that with my dad...I value everyday with my kids...we have such fun together because there is no tension. I think a lot of people miss out on a really enjoyable friendship because they are so busy being the boss. They never get to know their child as a person.
Do you think by being really stern you close down communication lines? Is it really good to be terrified of your parent?
Awaiting your opinion....

whats torogs problem?
There has been studies done showing that some people are attracted to pheremones of the same sex, making them gay. So this is proof being gay is not a choice, and you are born like that and you cannot change that. Some people are CREATED gay, this is a fact. If this is a sin than why would "god" create something that he is against? And also, if you are so sure god exists, what created it in the first place?
America is a free country. Why was a president elected that got less votes than the other candidate? Why does the government have the right to read any emails you have sent or received, listen in on your phone calls, and have you under surveillance without you ever knowing?
The president started a war on a country looking for terrorists that had caused 911. Even though there were NO iraqi terrorists proved to be on the plane. There were 18 Saudi Arabian terrorists on the plane, and the organization was believed to be in Saudi Arabia. George Bush also happens to have a very good relationship with the saudi leaders that get him most of his oil.
America is not free, and the situation isn't getting better either. Some people really just can't see big brother.

Hi Sentinel...
Ever notice how the one thing that is never brought up about gay marriage is children.....Some gay people are parents like it or not....and by recognizing their union they can get the same tax breaks as conventional parents...they would also be able to get health insurance and other benefits...why should the children suffer because the right wingers don't want civil unions in the main stream? Right wingers have a way of putting their heads in the sand and wishing everything away....
Damn if only that would work....I know what I would wish for.....lol

whats torogs problem?
I have posted this before but it just fits good here too....
Dear President Bush,
Thank you for doing so much to educate people regarding God's law. I have learned a great deal from you and try to share that knowledge with as many people as I can. When someone tries to defend the homosexual lifestyle, for example, I simply remind them that Leviticus 18:22 clearly states it to be an abomination. End of debate. I do need some advice from you, however, regarding some other elements of God's Laws and how to follow them:
1. Leviticus 25:44 states that I may possess slaves, both male and female, provided they are purchased from neighboring nations. A friend of mine claims that this applies to Mexicans, but not to Canadians. Can you clarify? I really want a Canadian slave!
2. I would like to sell my daughter into slavery, as sanctioned in Exodus 21:7. In this day and age, what do you think would be a fair price for her?
3. I know that I am allowed no contact with a woman while she is in her period of menstrual uncleanliness (Lev. 15:19-24). The problem is, how do I tell? Do I stake out the feminine hygeine departmant at walmart? I have tried asking, but most women take offense.
4. When I burn a bull on the altar as a sacrifice, I know it creates a pleasing odor for the Lord (Lev. 1:9). The problem is my neighbors. They claim the odor is not pleasing to them. Should I smite them?
5. I have a neighbor who insists on working on the Sabbath. Exodus 35:2 clearly states that he should be put to death. Am I morally obligated to kill him myself, or can we have a stoning party?
6. A friend of mine feels that, even though eating shellfish is an abomination (Lev. 11:10), it is a lesser abomination than homosexuality. I don't agree. Can you settle this? Are there "degrees" of abomination?
7. Lev. 21:20 states that I may not approach the altar of God if I have a defect in my sight. I have to admit that I wear reading glasses. Does my vision have to be 20/20, or is there some wiggle-room here?
8. Most of my male friends get their hair trimmed, including the hair around their temples, even though this is expressly forbidden by Lev. 19:27. How should they die?
9. I know from Lev. 11:6-8 that touching the skin of a dead pig makes me unclean, but may I still play football if I wear gloves?
10. My uncle has a farm. He violates Lev. 19:19 by planting two different crops in the same field, as does his wife by wearing garments made of two different kinds of thread (cotton/polyester blend). He also tends to curse and blaspheme a lot. Is it really necessary that we go to all the trouble of getting the whole town together to stone them (Lev. 24:10-16)? Couldn't we just burn them to death at a private family affair, like we do with people who sleep with their in-laws (Lev. 20:14)?
I know you have studied these things extensively and thus enjoy considerable expertise in such matters, so I am confident you can help.

whats torogs problem?
lol I'm prolly one of the rare concervative mormon marijuana users.
I think the reason why a lot of religions ban certain things, is because in certain incidents they were bad, or led too other bad things, so people speak out them agaisnt them completely.
For example, I find marijuana use fine, but I can see if someone is under the influence of it and goes driving and hits someone that it could be a problem. Thats how I make sense of the fact that my church looks down upon it, even though thats probably not the case.
Just because I personally smoke marijuana doesn't make me a liberal either. Their are many other subjects that would prevent me from this, such as gay marriage, abortion, etc.
In every group of people, they are some differences.Just Cause You Feel it Doesn\'t Mean It\'s There
If the words \"life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness\" don\'t include the right to experiment with your own consciousness, then the Declaration of Independence isn\'t worth the hemp it was written on.
\"It really puzzles me to see marijuana connected with narcotics dope and all of that stuff. It is a thousand times better than whiskey. It is an assistant and a friend.\" -Louis Armstrong (Wise Wise Man and Brilliant Musician)

Just as we should be fearful of the Wrath of God,we should also be fearful of the wrath of our parents..but if that wrath is just and the child knows it,then it is not terror..but rather , tough love. Those children, who do not fear the wrath of their parents, are usually trouble-makers and git into more trouble. Children should have an absolute, guiding moral authority,in the form of their parents, those children whose parents don't set rules and don't care where their child is..are often un-happy and have life-long problems with authority figures. They also tend to be self-abusive and depressed, and put themselve's into bad situations with bad people who will take advantage of their rebellion against authority.
It feels more right,to a child,to have boundaries and for their parents to not be such a friend,as to loosen up those boundaries of moral conduct and behaviour..they are most secure, when their roles are clearly defined. Until children reach the age of majority and legal status as adults, they should be treated like children..not as little adults, with adult decisions, being forced upon them.
As soon as my daughter turned 18,I began to treat her like an adult..with not only adult freedoms, but adult responsibilty..I told her that she would be responsible for her actions as an adult,in an adult way..and that the law, would expect the same. Before she turned 18,I told her that this was no democracy-that I was the absolute ruler..granted-I was a just and merciful ruler..but at least she knew where she stood in the world..and there was no confusion about that, like there would be,in a household where the children are treated as little adults and not as the children that they are.
Have a good one !

However,I disagree with you telling anyone to shut up,if anyone wishes to express themselves, they should be able to do so,even if I don't like what they are saying,I also disagree with juggalo tellin anyone to shut up..we need to know what each other is thinking..I'd rather that juggalo try to come to terms with me..than have him shut up. He can't understand why a feller like me,who believes in the things that I do,comes here..it would be best for him to gain understanding, rather than trying to stifle mine or anyone else's speech.
