My insurance is the worst part of what I have to pay every month, because I am still under 25 or whatever the age is. However, I have the safe driver's benefit and the good student deduction from AllState, so that helps a lot with that too. Gas isn't too bad, because I live in a small town, and the only time I really have to drive very far is to go pick up.

I don't have to pay for dates, because I have a boyfriend.

I was taught to live below my means. I don't spend gregariously or needlessly, except for my bud. I use the money I save by being responsible with my money and my life in general to buy my bud. It all works out.
Are you trying to prove something?

I mean, good for you but not everyone has all that going for them princess

    That's just not true.

I hardly see how any of that classifies me as a princess. I work full-time to pay all of my bills, I just have a job that is convenient for a college-student. That doesn't make me a "princess," it makes me smart for going to an option that won't infringe on my schedule.

And all I was saying was that its simply not true that the average person cannot smoke chronic many times a day regularly, like Nochowder said up there ^. People who are resourceful and work hard and seek out the most economic option in most things can make it work easily.

Anyway, no, I am not trying to prove something besides that your statement was entirely incorrect, so I will end this here.

Well you failed miserably. The bottom line is smoking 6 bowls of chronic daily (assuming each bowl is a conservative .25g) comes out to $675 dollars a month (assuming you're getting chronic at a fair price of $15g.).

Now only in the mind of a child who has yet to experience the REAL world can you possibly think a $675 monthly expense is doable by the average HS/College kid without any kind of 'help' (or selling on the side).

You yourself are getting a HUGE break on your rent/bills + you have a flexible job via your parents. Not to mention I'm just a little fuzzy how $8 bucks an hour PART-TIME not only pays your pot expenses but also your rent/bills + food, clothing, cell phone, and various living expenses ALL without any help from anyone.... Cause at part time (39hrs) you are only making $1248 minus federal tax and SS (which would make your monthly check at or under a $1000 at best).... So you're weed expenses are already more then 50% of your spendable income which princess, isnt something a responsible adult can afford to do in the real world at that income level.

Now if you truly wanted to prove my statement entirely incorrect you would need to show how the average HS/College kid can afford a $675+ monthly expense while living a normal independent live (IE paying regular rent, bills, groceries, cell phone bills, clothes, ect) complete with hobbies and going out without ANY help from parents (or a bf).

I'm sure there are some who can do that but most cannot and that is what my post was all about.

LOL well first of all, you grossly overestimate the cost of smoking. I go through a little more then a quad a week, normally at $90 a quad. That's a little more than a gram a day, and I smoke between normally either five or six times a day, so that is an average bowl size of .2-.23ish. So my weed expenses are not nearly what you claim them to be. They are, at max, $450 a month, and usually just $400.

Secondly, yes, I do have nice benefits in my rent and bills situation. However, I have earned them. I am on academic scholarship to my school, with a small stipend for books and housing and miscellaneous school stuff, so that is another reason that my rent is not bad. I did the work in high school because I wanted to have my school pay for mostly everything.

I admit that I am lucky to have a job that has flexible hours. This is the one issue that I will agree is a lucky break. However, its not as though our company doesn't hire anyone who isn't family, and there are many other companies throughout our business, and in many other fields, that allow a flexible working schedule.

If you are dedicated to finding a job that you can work that most hours at so that you can keep the habits you want, its not that hard. I mean, even some kids who went to my high school with no skills and just slightly more intelligence were able to get jobs at their school's (our main state school, where almost everyone went, which is the only reason I know) student center during weird-ass hours. You just have to be resourceful.

But hey, your not the first person to just spout the word princess at me without really knowing what you're talking about. So, now, I will finally actually leave this alone and end this needless hijack, and accept the title of princess if you wish to keep pursuing it.
